About Colorado Corrugated Metal Ceiling Tiles

  • Perfect for bars, industrial lofts, man caves, and rustic-style eateries
  • 1/4" corrugation depth (peak to valley)
  • Price listed includes one (1) 23.625" X 23.625" Corrugated Metal Ceiling Tile
  • Work with any metal 2'x2' drop ceiling grid system using a standard 15/16" T-bar — including our direct-mount J-Track grid system. Note: a metal grid is required. Vinyl grid systems (including our own CeilingConnex) are not rated to support metal tiles.
  • Installation instructions included.
  • 100% satisfaction guarantee with all Dakota Tin products. You'll find exceptional customer service from an all-American company.
  • See finished installations in our Customer Gallery.
  • Real metal tiles — cut-resistant gloves are required when handling.

Get an even more eclectic look with the Dakota Barn Tin Collection. Because these tiles are reclaimed (salvaged) directly from Midwest barns, each tile tells a story with unique nail holes and high rust variation.

Want to add linseed sealant to your ceiling tiles? Linseed sealant is a boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits solution we apply in-house before shipping. It creates a thin shellac-like coat that slows further rusting, helps prevent rust rub-off, and adds a touch of shine.

Just choose Yes under "Linseed Sealant Applied" when adding to cart. Linseed is not available on all patinas — some finishes don't benefit from it.

Why Colorado Rustic Steel Ceiling Tiles Are So Unique

After receiving customer feedback about the need for a more consistent design — free of nail holes or warps — that still had a rustic feel, Dakota Tin introduced the Colorado Rustic Steel collection in 2019. All Colorado Rustic patterns have a more consistent, uniform color pattern with less contrast per tile compared to the Dakota Tin Collection.

Colorado Rustic Collection Style Options

  • Rusted: Pre-rusted using an all-natural, accelerated rust treatment. Because the solution is spray-applied, the result is a more even coat of copper rust color, but still with small variations of blues and greys you'd get from antique galvanized.
    • We start the rusting process, but if you'd still like more rust, learn how to increase the amount of rust here.
    • We recommend sealing this style with a clear coat, as the rust finish can rub off. Here is how to clear coat Rusted products.
  • Galvalume: New galvanized steel, light silver, semi-sheen. NO RUST or color variation.
  • Antique: Antiqued steel, dark grey, weathered, flat texture. NO RUST or color variation.
    • Finish wears with time (can produce white rust with exposure to moisture), will continue to age with exposure, and may scratch.
    • We recommend sealing this style with a clear coat for high-wear areas or where oils can get splattered, since it has a more porous surface. Here is how to clear coat Antique products.
  • Colorado Premium: New galvanized steel that we artificially age in-house to replicate the look of our reclaimed Premium Barn Tin — without the nail holes, warping, or per-piece variation. Higher-end aged character with consistency across the run.
  • Crinkle Black: Matte black steel with a subtle crinkle texture that knocks down the sheen. Uniform black finish with no color variation. Note: this material is currently single-sided coated — the back face is white. Not visible in standard ceiling-tile use.

Create a mountain retreat, ranch, or southwestern-style look in your home or commercial space by applying corrugate to indoor and outdoor spaces, walls, ceilings, or other home décor and furniture.
