This Shipping Policy describes how Dakota Tin ships orders placed through dakotatin.com. All orders ship from Yankton, SD.
Order Processing Time
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- In-stock orders: 2-3 business days to leave our facility
- Custom cut orders: 5-10 business days, depending on size and finish
If we're running a high volume or there's an unusual delay, we'll reach out by email.
Shipping Method and Transit Time
Standard ground shipping is via UPS Ground. After your order leaves our facility, typical delivery is 2-5 business days, depending on your destination.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays from severe weather or other circumstances outside our control are possible.

Free ground shipping on orders over $75 within the continental US.
Excluded from free shipping (these items always carry a shipping charge):

Freight and Custom Orders
Custom cut panels and large panels typically ship truck freight. Pieces over 4 feet in length carry a pallet charge. Freight is quoted per order based on size, weight, and destination.

International Orders
We don't ship internationally direct, but we work regularly with customers outside the US who use a US-based freight forwarder. The customer arranges the forwarder; we ship to the forwarder's US address; the forwarder handles international transport from there.

Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to start updating in the carrier's system.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply to reship the order.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Dakota Tin is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after they've been marked delivered by the carrier.
If your order arrives damaged or doesn't show up, contact us within 7 days of expected delivery so we can help with a carrier claim. Include your order number and photos of any damage.
